Hi,
I have been having the same issue as you since I have updated my XP version
to SP2. since then my digital camera driver cannot be installed even when the
correct path is prompt.
The same problem appears with any other external devise, whether there are
HUBS, card reader, webcams, etc.
I was advised to unistall all the drivers, reboot and the problem wuold be
fixed as XP was supposed to identify the drivers and reinstall them. The only
result I achieved was to lose the mouse as well as any other devise connected
to the hub.
Luckily I have a cordless mouse which is allowing me to write this message.
A friend of mine had a look and thinks the problem may resides in missing
dll files in the registry.
Any suggestions are more than welcomed!
please help!
