Post subject: what's Direct OCR Error as a Windows system error message

I have an error message dialog on my system that keeps coming up saying "Direct OCR Error. A memory conflict occurred. Restart Windows." That is not the exact message, but it's the gist of it. I'm running Windows XP Pro on a Sony Vaio. What is this error? Searching on Google for the phrase "direct ocr error", I found nothing. Not one single page about it on the whole Internet. That's why I'm quite intrigued and surprised about this error.

Restarting Windows solved the problem, but I'm concerned it might happen again or could indicate corruption of my memory.

Does anyone know anything about this?
