Yes.

If you want a more detailed answer you need to tell us exactly what kind
of password you want to delete.

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

I checked the box in tweakUI to log on to windows without the log on box.
Somehow the box get un checked and the log in box re-appears. A reply to my
post mintion about setting a password . So I set it in tweakUI. Now an
error message comes up saying that Windows can not log on. I press the OK
and windows comes up. I want to get rid of the error and the box.

The password that you set in TweakUI has to match the password you set
for the account.

It's a serious mistake to leave an account without password protection.
Anyone who can get onto your computer - including a hacker - will have
complete control over your account.

To learn how to remove a password from an account, see the Help and
Support Center. (Start > Help and Support)
