Post subject: Custom Toolbar Problem...

Hi,

<cross post - sorry but I'm getting no replies in customizing windows.. so hope you can help me out in this forum>

I got tired of drilling down through c:\username\profile\blah blah blah so I set the 'My Documents' folder at the root of drive C. I've got tons of subfolders so that makes life a lot easier for using Windows Explorer, burning CDs, etc. etc. I've adapted all the paths in all my programs to accomodate this. Everything works well EXCEPT a custom toolbar.

The Quicklaunch toolbar is fine. I create a custom toolbar 'Tax Programs' and have the shortcuts to them all in the path C:\My Documents\Tax Programs. It sticks until I have to restart. Then the toolbar isn't there at all on the task bar. I then click on the taskbar, click on Toolbars and see an entry for Tax Programs ticked. I have to untick it and then create the same NEW Toolbar over again.

So what in the registry or somewhere is happening? Why does Quicklaunch 'stick' and my custom toolbar not?

Help much appreciated as this is ruddy irritating!

Brenda A.
