I just recently put together my computer, an Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe, AMD
3800+, E-VGA 7950GT, and 1 GB of Corsair RAM. I installed the programs that
came with the motherboard and such games as Evil Genius, Battlefield 2, and
World of Warcraft.
What my problem is that when I play these games my computer will randomly
just fatal error and restart. Somedays it only happens once and days like
today it happened 3 times. Not only when I play games does this happen,
earlier today it crashed 3 times when it booted up and while I was sending
the error report to Microsoft (for only the umpteenth time).
They said it was a Video card driver problem, but I'm running the absolute
latest version of nVidia's drivers and troubleshooted them as well. Now it
seems the problem is a "Service Control Manager" fails to find the required
files to run and crashes the entire system.
So can anyone tell me what this "SCM" is, what it does, and how to stop it
from crashing my computer?
