I am facing avery peculiar and silly problem in my system. I dont know if
anyone has ever faced this problem. Whenever I click on the icons on my
system(eg MyComputer, Internet Explorer, Or and other icon), the folder opens
up but twice or thrice. two three browsers open up. Ihave checked my mouse
speed and all the settings but unable to fix the problem. Also when I click
the cross over any(to clse it) page/folder two or three pages/folders below
it closes. >> Stay informed about: Click problem of the mouse |

Have you tried a different mouse. Mine double/triple/quadruple clicks, and
it is the mouse itself. I've been meaning to replace it but....... >> Stay informed about: Click problem of the mouse |

Sounds like you are clicking to fast. For a test right click what you want
to open and select open in the list.

Could also go into the control pannel and tell it you have a left hand mouse
and that will use the right mouse button for dub clicking. Just to check.

You havn't updated to IE7 by any chance? I did and ended up with the mouse
scroll doing extra lines at every scroll! I cured it by removing all Logitec
software and letting Windows deal with it.
