Post subject: Changing drive Layout/Type Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>configuration_manage (more info?)

| In Disk Management, I have a SATA drive that shows the Layout and Type as
Dynamic/Simple. Is there any way I can change it to Partition/Basic like my
other drives? Deleting the partition and reformatting does not change it to
Partition/Basic. Thanks for any help.

Did you remember to reinstall the SATA Drivers?
