Post subject: Caps lock sounds

I have previously placed the tick in "Toggle keys" so that I get the sounds when shift lock is on an off. Now I have a new computer and have done the same but there is no sound. Why?

Out of interest, why do you want this sound? I find all unesenial sounds (which is every sound windows makes) anoying and disable them.

Being a rotten typist I often hit the shift key by mistake. It's reassuring to have his "beep" so that I don't go on typing capitals when I should be in lower case.
Now - can anyone help?!

This feature doesn't use your speakers, it uses the System Speaker, a cheap jobbie on the motherboard. Check your manual, as many Mobos don't come with them anymore.
