Post subject: Basic window games-freecell,solitare,minesweeper and etc.
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>basics (more info?)
I have some way removed these basic games, I have tried to use add/remove
with window components(all games wanted are checked) will not load. Also have
used Gateway operating system disk to reinstall (indicates installed) but
file under all programs/games shows empty still. Also must have deleted files
and system restore points, because they do not have or unable to recreate a
restore point that will help. All other programs seem to function as they
should. Any suggestions I'm lost?

I am having a problem with the game minesweeper. The Game clears in the
middle of a game and will even bring up the help screen without a prompt. I
am thinking of just downloading another copy but cannot find it for Xp. I
have tried repairing it but only find going back to an earlier time. What
can I do.

Having any other trouble with your mouse? There is no special 'XP version'
of minesweeper. Try a known good mouse, and also check the mouse settings.
