Age of Mythology (and The Titans)

Hi

Everything was working 100%, I could play online without any problems.
Installed Internet Explorer 7 for the improved security and new features.
Now when trying to play Age of Mythology online, the program cannot log onto
the Stats Server, so no game information is available i.e. wins/loses, so
you never play against opponents of the same ability. Are there any
solutions to this other than uninstalling Internet Explorer 7, which will
eventually be a critical update for Windows?

I can play Age of Empires III on the same system without any problems. I
have emailed Microsoft Games support, with basically no assistance at all,
tried to contact the game developers also proved pointless. We else can I go
for support?

I have exactly the same problem as does everyone who has recently installed
IE7.

ANybody have a work around?

Seems a bit poor. At least 1500 players are on at any one time at night.
That must reflect a high baseload of p###ed off customers.
