Recently I was prompted to update to the latest version of FlashPlayer by a
trusted website. However, when I tried to update/install I received the error
message "You do not have access to make the required system configuration
modification. Please rerun installation from administrator account". I am
running Windows XP home edition SP2, and I'm wondering if the error is
related to any recent updates?
The only accounts on my computer belong to myself and my husband, both with
administrator status. A friend suggested trying the installation in safe mode
from the "hidden" administrator account - that didn't work either. Any other
suggestions? |
