Is there a general Group Policy to deploy 802.1x settings for the wired lan?
I have found some settings for the wireless lan, but that is not what i am
looking for.
We are having about a 7,000 computers running with Windows XP SP2 in a 2k3
Server environment.
We are planning to deploy 802.1x on the wired network. For the moment i have
been scripting an own solution to set the 802.1x settings on the clients. It
would be much better to deploy and manage the 802.1x settings from the group
policy.
Anyone with some usefull help?

i have the same problem. did you find anything? script, gpo etc.

We are trying to do the same thing here but we are not having much luck. If
you are writting a script to do this how are you determining the proper
interface to add the settings to? in the registry the identifier for the NIC
is not consitent across machines.
(hklm\software\microsoft\eapol\parameters\interface\{interface identifier} )
