Games wont Install

I have just recently installed XP Pro after a hard disk crash. I have also
put SP2 and other windows updates on.

When ever i stick a CD in the Drive to install a programe I get the
following XP Error message and cannout get any further...

"Microsoft Games AutoRun/Setup has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience."

[This message is displayed in the common xp 'send' 'dont send' etc error box]

Can anyone please help with this problem?

To narrow down the cause of the problem, I wonder if you are having
this problem with only one CD or with all CD's you try to install from?
