I cannot get Messenger v75 to logon to my MSN account. It will to a hotmail
account, but when I access MSN ACCOUNT SERVICES then log-off, I get the
following error:
MSN Messenger Service
I suspect that if I can get the MESSENGER service to log-off NET services, I
can get v75 to work properly. Any suggestions?

Why do you run msn messenger, its really designed to run in msn explorer,
a dial-up ISP.But if one must,have you opened add/remove programs-windows
components and uninstalled,or unchecked the box for windows messenger. The
two cannot run side-by-side.

Greetings John,
I'm afraid these are separate issues; if you clear your cookies that should clear up your
issue with account services.
What exactly happens when you try to use your @msn passport with Messenger?

I am also having the same problem with my Sympatico account but not with my
Hotmail account.
I seems that I can use my Sympatico account with older Messenger builds but
not the new builds.
So, I went to Messenger and they said that it is a Passport issue. I went to
Passport and they said that it is a Sympatico issue. I went to Sympatico and
they said they do not support Messenger unless you purchase MSN Premium, go
back to Microsoft.
Sympatico and MSN signed a deal which resulted in the Sympatico domain being
added to the Passport Network. More info can be found here:
http://upgradecentre.sympatico.ca/Welcome.aspx
From my guess, Sympatico does not validate the Sympatico accounts via
Passport Network unless you buy the MSN Premium. They want more money!!!
I am still looking into this but if you find something, please post your
solution.
