Hello,

Does anyone know if and where I can find such a driver for a Canon LBP-4i (I
have a parallel-USB cable) ?

It's built into XP.

I do not know why, but the built-in driver for USB printers does not work
properly through an USB to parallel cable.
Somebody told me that such cables are unidirectionnal so there is no
possibility of status signals from the printer to the driver.
Be it true or false, I concluded that this solution is too difficult to sort
out, so I opted for a different one (parallel port PCI card).
Thank you
Gab

The problem is not with the Canon drivers but the USB/Parallel cable
drivers, I have seen this on "cheap" cables.
