'Mr. Nichol: First time on "EXPERTS" site. Read your reply to vnss304 about
ASPI troubles. I, being old and stubborn tried to get rid of that infernal
box saying my "Inter Video DVD copy" suddenly needed a ASPI Device Manager.
After spending an entire night and before finding you, I was able to decode
adaptec's instructions on how to download ASPI. Feeling real good about
conquering that @#$%^box; I tried my DVD copy again, now the BOX read unable
to initialize Device Manager! @#$%^BOX "1" me "0". I had no explanation to my
wife of 53 yrs. what I had been doing all night. If you can tell me in real
"juvenile" language how to "initialize" this THING you might save this short
term marriage...the further I go the behinder I get!!! P.S. Even if you can
straigten me out you wont get any credit in my house because I'm going to
tell her that making that copy the other night was a snap, and that the real
reason that I spent the night on the computer, was to watch "Girls Gone
Wild". THANKS, OLD HULDY
