Trying to remove a program but keep getting an error code.

I used to get that on my PC still haven't figured how to stop that?
I have tried the normal route of removing programs i.e going to the control
panel, what do I do now? Its Kazza that i'm trying to remove.

What is the programme? What is the Source in the Error Report?

Its Kazaa, I've been tryong to remove it but I get the message that I have
typed in the first post.

You did not give the "Source"?

How are you trying to remove Kazaa?

Have you tried reinstalling and then uninstalling through Add / remove
Programs?

I have reinstalled the program again and then tried to remove it by going
through control panel and selecting 'add remove program'. When i attempt to
remove it I get a box with the following message:

'install shield wizard' (this is in the blue bar at the top of the box)

(theres also a white cross in a red circle)

"setup has experienced an error:

please do the following:
close any running problems
empty your temporary folders
check your internet connection (internet-based setup)

then try to run the setup again

error code: -6001"


This is the only information that is in the box, and theres no mention of a
'source'.
i have norton internet security. i don't know if this has affected it??

also I have tried to open the kazaa site but it keeps stating that there is
no internet connection.

any ideas??

I wish someone would answer his problem. I am having the same problem also.

Whenevr I try uninstall any game. I've done all the methods InstallSheild
Says on their website. If I rename or remove the folder it says "Cannot be
found" if I replace still same error message.

Anyone have any ideas?
