Seeing and Working With Multiple Documents on an RD Session

Greetings All!

I find myself having to connect more and more often to the office server
(running server 2003 enterprise edition) from home (XP pro and Remote
Desktop Connection client software). Since I need to open, view, and
create multiple documents at the same time on the server, I would like
to maximize the available work space here at home. Moving a bunch of
windows around a 19 inch LCD (1280x1024) here at home is annoyingly
inefficient.

Problem is, I am not allowed to copy any of these documents to my XP
machine at home because of privacy requirements; I can view them only.

So:

1. The catching up reading I've done for this groups seems to indicate
that the RDC client can't do multiple monitors, so it would do no good
to create a multimonitor set up here at home. Is this correct?

2. It also appears from reading this group that the maximum resolution
the RDC client can do is 1600x1200. If so, it would seem the best I can
do is purchase a monitor capable of displaying this resolution. Is this
correct?

Sorry for the rambling here: I guess I'd to know if anyone has any
experience with this or could refer me to additional resources. Google
and Microsoft have been somewhat useful, but can't find any direct
reference to the issue.

If you have to use MS RDC, yes.

If you have to use MS RDC, yes.

So you are not allowed to copy them to your local machine via a policy
(written)?
