I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with. My background pic on
my desktop is gone. If I right click on the desktop it says File
Protocol,HTML Document,Not Encrypted,file://C:\WINDOWS\desktop.html. That is
what I get when I right click and click on properties.
I also keep getting spyware back as soon as I restart. I delete the spyware
with AdAware and as soon as I restert the spyware comes back. Any help would
be appreicated.

You might want to try the following:

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Display.
On the Desktop page select Customize Desktop.
On the Desktop Items select the Web page.
Remove the check marks from any items listed in the "Web pages"
box.
Make sure that "Lock desktop items" is unchecked as well.
Hit OK twice.

Hopefully that will fix your display problem.

It looks like you've got a spyware problem. You might want to
take a look at these sites:

<a rel="nofollow" style='text-decoration: none;' href="http://aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm" target="_blank">http://aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm</a>

Good luck

To follow up on the Desktop issue, in the "Web pages" box,
highlight any entries other than "My Home page" and select
Remove. You can now find the desktop.html file and delete it.
Only delete the desktop.html file. Do not delete any files that
are named desktop.ini.
