machine.inf is in your windows directory. to find you must advance
search for hidden files

Hi,

I tried to do your fix but when I got to "Have Disk" and pointed to
the temporary folder where I put machine.inf it didn't populate with
anything "No option for Plug and Play*" I don't know what I did wrong,
am I at a point where it might be more effective to just reformat the
drive?
