Post subject: Upgrade Question
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>customize (more info?)

The question: Will Microsoft Front Page 2003 Upgrade
Version install on a Toshiba laptop computer which does
not have any previous Front Page software installed?

The background: I have a Dell desktop computer which has
Microsoft Office 2000, including Front Page 2000,
installed and running satisfactorily. I recently
purchased a new laptop computer, Microsoft Office 2003
and Microsoft Front Page 2003 Upgrade Version. (Could not
find a version of Office 2003 which comes with Front Page
2003.) I have all original, legal and legitimate
software from Microsoft.

I think I qualify for the "upgrade version" but wonder if
the software will install. I would really, really,
really prefer NOT to have to install Office 2003, then
Front Page 2000, then Front Page 2003.

Can anyone help? Thank you!

Jim

Without a previous version of a qualifying Microsoft Office
product installed, you cannot use the "Upgrade Version" of
FrontPage. You'll need the "Full Version".
