Yeah we are, I guess we didn't make it clear enough that we need an
adapter that will convert a male usb to male PS/2 and it should be an
active adapter.
That site you linked to has the plain USB to PS/2 adapters which we
already said we tried.

You would do well to talk to their folks to get what you need. See this
group is setup to assist with the XP support of hardware issues. You
have connection problems unrelated to XP.
