Post subject: Stuck in Windows Classic Mode

| Suddenly, in display properties, in appearence, i dont have the ablility to
change to "XP style" anymore. I seem to be stuck in classic mode, the option
to change back is gone, i didnt change anything, just turned on my pc, and it
was all ugly windows 98 looking..what happened? How can i fix it? and advice
appreciated!

Do you have XP Pro?
If so, go to ...
Start | Run | Type: gpedit.msc | OK |
Navigate to >>
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Desktop Themes\
Load a specific visual style file or force Windows Classic
Set to Not configured

right click on start button choose properties and UNCHECK CLASIC

Nothing works, apparently the only chioice i have is to call microsoft,
