On 3 of 4 games, at some point in the game, when I click
on the cards or the "deal" menu, I will get 2 sets of
cards dealt instead of one. I am using a MS Intellimouse
Optical that works flawlessly elsewhere.

Hi Dan,

That's an interesting observation. I would eliminate conflicts
between the game and the Intellimouse profile software by
closing that software before playing Spider Solitaire, and use
a different surface for the mouse such as a dark fabric. GL!
