Sorry, re-post - I neglected to check the 'Notify me of replies' box...

I have a Barbie Horse Adventures game for my duaghter that works fine on a
Dimension 4500 with Windows XP. The same game will not run on my new
Dimension 8400 with Windows XP (embedded SP2). It gives me an error message
that reads... 15 - Retry/Cancel. What the heck does that mean???

I also have The Incredibles - When Danger Calls, which will not run on the
8400 either. It's error messages reads... Cannot authenicate disc in time
limit. How can I fix this???

Neither software company has resonded to my inquiries. Should I assume the
issues to be SP2 related? Any patches???

Please help!

Sounds like an incompatibility between the game CD's copy protection and
your CD/DVD drive. I dont know what the answer is (sorry) but there
have been lots of posts on the subject so try 'googling' and I'm sure
you'll find the answer. Note, I know a few folk that have had to obtain
a different CD/DVD player to get around this. Shaun
