Hi everybody, I'm using Windows XP SP2 and using IE 6 , when I download an
Excel file, they ask me that "Save or Open this file" , I clicked Open and
unchecked on the checkbox below, and now, when I download an excel file, it
always opens file on browser. How can I disable it?
Please help me.
Thanks

Try none of these. If no good, then please post to a more relevant
group.

You set this for each file type, e.g. for .zip
Windows Explorer-Tools-Folder Options-File Types
Find the .zip association (may be WinZip File)
Edit, (or click Advanced on ME or XP) and check the "Confirm open
after download" box

File types CSV, XLS for Excel

the Appropriate Office Program Instead of in IE:
