I have a device with two drive(par.)
one is cdrom, the other is normal usb disk.
now, how can determine the drive of normal usb disk by a App from the
cdrom?

That is not especially clear here. First off, what operating system
and SP level are you running? What tools (for determination) are
available there? Such as "must be batch file", "could be third-party
utility" and so on.

As I read you, you want to locate an active and available USB device
from something running from a optical disk (CD) such as for a home-
grown installer or some such. Is that about it?
