Im using my computer at the workplace and trying to connect to files on the
server.

When I go into network place and entire network, I get this message.

While I see other folders from this server available, they say the file is
not accessible.

What can I do too ensure that this particular computer can access these files?

Thanks,

How are you connecting to the server, wired or wireless and is this a
laptop or desktop computer, also have you checked the firewalls to see if
you are allowed access.

Connected through hard wire using a laptop. Firewall, not too sure what
settings or is there a way to add my computer?

Thanks,

Sean

What firewall are you using on the laptop and am I right in assuming it
runs WinME as that is the newsgroup you have posted in, if not post back
and I'll try to steer you in the right direction <g>

Your firewalls might be blocking things. Disable the firewalls while
you sort things out.
