Post subject: Services.exe using all CPU

i have this pc that has win2k and SP4, i recently was using it just cleaning and stuff, but then one day it took like 5-10 mins to start and when i finnaly saw the Task manager to see what was wrong i realized that the SERVICES.EXE process was using 99% of the CPU and after an hour it continued to use them.

I accesed Services Administrator to see anything but it took forever, however i realized the tag of Services was not "started" like the other services but "starting". All this during the Safe-Mode.

Any Ideas, all help will be appreciated!!!! Question
