I've got a folder on a volume I need to delete but can't, because the
security permission is set for "Everyone" to only have Execute, List,
and Read. I'm in the admin group on that server and when I try to
change the perms on the folder am not allowed to. I've tried logging in
as different admin users to no avail. It looks like it's stuck. Any
clues?

Take ownership of the folder then change the permissions.

Hi Chungkuo
I have the same problem, usually when I locally login to Win2K server
with Administrator password I can not remove old folders, though I change
their ownership. in this case I go to command prompt and use "RD /S" command
to remove the directory. By the way, I sometimes can remove the same
directory with another user which is equivalent to Administrator. So
strange!

I hope that help Smile

Kind Regards,
