Loading OS restarts

Upon booting windows normally, it goes through 99% of the sequence and then
restarts on it's own. I then get a message on a startup options screen that
says that windows failed to load on the previous attempt so restart it
safemode to diagnose the problem. So I'm in safemode but don't know what to
do now. Any help would be great! Thanks.

If this is the same computer involved in the issues you described in
win98.gen_discussion (Subject: Primary IDE Controller error), it would be helpful if
you either stuck with your original thread, or included the issues and configuration
info that you brought up in that thread, lest we just repeat the same suggestions
over in two threads.
