Post subject: Laptop as a monitor
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win98>display>general (more info?)

I'm hoping you all can help me. A friend's Win 98 system stopped booting.
He brought over his Tower, but not his big heavy monitor. I tried to hook
the machine up to my laptop and use the screen as a monitor, but my laptop
just keeps booting to Windows.

Is there a way to make my laptop work as a monitor for this old dinosaur?

Thanks for all your help.
