Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>setup_deployment (more info?)

I have installed SUS on to a Windows 2000 server with Service pack 4 and
cant get the sus updates to roll out to my clients.

From the automatic updates in control panel I can see that the server is
rolling out the time/date chosen to update the clients, so I know half of it
is working just cant roll out the updates.

I’m using active directory and set-up a global policy but no joy. I have
selected the updates I wish to roll out but I think the problem could be with
the global setting

“Set the intranet update service for the detecting updates (from global
policy)

Mines currently

http://mm-svr2

Which is the name of the server (mm-svr2)

Is this correct?

Any help is great
