Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>file_system (more info?)

I have to say i'm a bit surprised at how "last minute" the new DFS
Namespace functionality is. I've heard reports of help files not
working properly (known issue), and from what I see there is no
programmatic way to manipulate DFS Namespaces? I know that Microsoft
has new initatives around DSI, so shouldn't there be a way to create a
namespace and links by using managed or un-managed code?

Has anyone seen a way to do this? I've tried WMI and DFSCMD, neither
work with namepsaces.
