I think you have to have a program installed, such as ScreenPrint, which
will enable that key for that to work. The only way I know how to do it is
to initiate a screen capture using an imaging program with screen capture

Version - 5 - menu bar - Capture>Setup>(obviously you set it up)
To capture: Start>(Shift-C (default)) or Start (either takes you to the
next/last opened screen, or screen that is NOT Paint Shop Pro).
Menu bar/File/Save file as::::

Absolutely not. Pressing the PrintScreen key on any Windows computer since Win95
will copy the screen, after which it can be pasted into any graphics application.
To capture just the active window, press Alt+PrintScreen

Good point, Brian. You usually get what you pay for and sometimes a
product is offered for free in a personnel environment (example Adaware
SE) but I would make sure that it is a safe product from the MVP's here
