my pc without the internet?

Yes - just double-click them.......if in fact they ARE hotfixes. Where is
this file?

they're in a series of folders with a KB and then a 6-digit number after it.
I'd go into each folder, go into 'update' folder, then click on 'update'. It
then says that I need an 'update.inf' file to install the update.

The file "update.inf" is required because it contains installation and
removal information. Each one of the KB folders needs its own info file.

You don't have all of the hotfix. The only place to get the entire hotfix
is from MS.
