Sorry didn't make myself clear:
Click Start >> Double click Control pane >> Double click Network and
Internet Connections >> Double click Internet Options >> On the IE properties
window you will see these tabs:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs | Advanced
Click On Advanced Tab then uncheck these boxes under Browsing Option:
[&] Browisng
[ ] Enable Install On Demand (Internet Explorer)
[ ] Enable Install On Demand (Other)
[ ] Enable third-party browser extensions (requ res) uncheck this
And click [OK] To confirm your settings and close the IE window.
To spped up your Internet try this:
Click on General Tab on the IE properties and click Settings.
On Settings Window under ----Temporary Internet files folder------¬
Try to resize your TIF folder between 5-80 MBs by using the Selector under:
Amount of disk space to use:
----------▼------------ [ 80 ▼] MB
Then click [OK]
Also Run Disk Clean Up to clean the Clutter on your HDD and Run Defrag In
Safe Mode.
HTH.

Tell me what IE version you are runing?., to know that click On Help while
you are Opening a webpage and Select *Aboyt Internet Explorer* a pop-up
window will come up and there are some details about the Version you have
installed on your system.
Now it seems to be running
> slow again.
While you are on the Net and the page slowing to upload or to open Press
these sequence of Keys ALT + DEL + CTRL and see on the Task manager which
Processor is taking the Most of the CPU Usage and Note it down, then send it
here in your next post.
Your system can be slow for many reason, Shortage of Disk Space, RAM, lack
of maintenance, Corrupted files/folders, left from unsuccessful install from
applications.
Spywares, Runing alot of applications in the background.
Try this and see if it will mke a bit of change, open a Run command and type:
sfc /scannow click [OK] and get your XP CD handy to insert it in if it
asked you to do so.
P.S Does this behavior reproduce itself with other applications or just the
IE?.
HTH.

nass
