Post subject: Looking for registry setting
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>security_admin (more info?)

I am trying to find a registry setting that will for a check box to be
checked in my wireless settings.

The particular box I am looking for is under the "Wireless network
Connections Properties". Click the "Wireless Networks" tab, and the
check box in question is "Use Windows to configure my wireless network
settings".

I thought it might be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
\Services\WZCSVC
But that seems to just affect the Wireless Zero Service.

Any suggresions would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks
Peter

Setting timeout with GPO - I want to set a timeout period of 15 minutes to all computers in our domain. I'd prefer not to use a screensaver (as they tend to stop some functions ie: serial port). GPO only lists the screensaver method. How can I do this? THanks Ron
