how to registry to restrict folder expansion in 'select fo..

Hi,

I want to restrict expansion of tree in the 'select folder' (e.g a dialog
box on windows media player, when we select Add to Library-> Add Folder)
dialog box .

Normally, such a dialog box would show Desktop as the root and then My
Documents, My Computer, My Network Places and so on.

I want that only desktop is shown as the root and it should not be possible
to expand the Desktop icon to see other icons like - My Documents, My
Computer, My Network Places and so on.

Is there a way to do it through registry settings
