i have got my windows xp home edition activated but did not register with
microsoft. how to register my already activated windows?

Why do you want to? Registration is optional, and is solely for
Microsoft's benefit, not yours. They use the information for marketing
purposes.

Registration is optional and carries no real benefits at all - don't bother.

You don't need to register, registration is optional and not really worth
it. I've never registered my copy of XP or Vista, for that matter.
