When trying to run the factory supplied recovery cd on a Toshiba Satellite
Pro 6100 laptop, I receive the error message that the cd is not for a
satellite 6100 but instead is for a satellite 6100 and cannot be run on a
satellite 6100. Please insert the 6100 recovery disk. Like I said, the
laptop is a 6100 and the disks came with the laptop and are labeled as being
for a 6100. The system has been previously recovered with these disks.
Bought the laptop directly from Toshiba approx 2-3 years ago. Any ideas?

Unfortunately - Toshiba created these CDs for the machine - they are your
line of support.
