Post subject: pictures have disapeared Get Alert
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>messenger (more info?)

yesterday i could post my own pictre and see my friends - but today my
profile is not there - remved or hidden i dont know - how can i get it back!!
Thank you to all / any one who may be able to help - im about as technical
as an egg so talk slowly!!!

Greetings,

Could you tell us exactly which "profile" you mean? There's lots of things you could be
referring to and it's difficult to even begin to give you an answer without some more
details.

when messenger opens it lists all contacts - those on and off line - etc
Before last wek on the right hand side there was a colum that showed my
image and that image of whoever i was talking to

and now its not there

Hi,

Ah, gotcha. To bring these back, just open up the main contact list, click the "green
arrows" icon to the right of the "Find a contact" field and choose Show contacts' details.

This assumes you're using the latest Windows Live Messenger version.
