Having had some problems using application sharing I decided to remove & reinstall Windows Live Messenger. However when trying to install (both with Live Installer & the Installer File) I get the error message "Older version of Windows Live Messenger cannot be removed" and the installation fails. As far as I can find the only earlier version of Messenger I have installed is MSN Messenger 7.5 that has an update applied (according to add/remove programs) that cannot be removed. Is this a registry problem perhaps & if so any clues how I can rectify it please? >> Stay informed about: older version cannot be removed
