I didn't say you erred, I just thought you weren't seeing the suggestions. It just feels like I've seen several posts mentioning a
friend with arthritis in this and/or another newsgroup, and I'm pretty sure they were posted under different names, but I probably
just looking at the wrong line.

No, it wouldn't necessarily. Some websites specifically have code to disable autocomplete on some fields. It's a pain in the butt,
but they do it for "security".
Here's another suggestion; use a clipboard type application. There are apps which will allow you to save clips of text which you
can easily paste with a couple of clicks of the mouse (no keyboard required at all!) I can't find the ones I have come across, but
I'll take a look and see if I can find them. This way, your friend can save login names, passwords, pretty much anything at all,
and then just click to paste it into the fields. Even better, it can be used for anything on the computer, not just websites.
