keyboard buttons

Can one of the keyboard buttons be used to generate a string of
characters in a form? My friend has arthritic hands and has difficulty
typing in a string of ID characters and password on his bank website.

Of course, duh! I didn't read the whole post, so I didn't see the website part. Good catch Ted.

A form-filler app would be easier for that, although if he's got arthritis, then some kind of macro or shorthand program could come
in handy for other typing tasks as well.

Also, perhaps some kind of wrist-rest or other ergonomic type device designed to facilitate people with bad hands, carpel-tunnel,
etc. could come in handy.
