What Bruce and Leonard said - PLUS
Review the Privacy handling settings on your computer. Many tracking
cookies point to external URLs, which are unrelated to the website your
are viewing.
You could select Advanced settings, to override automatic cookie
handling. Then, change the setting for Third Party Cookies to "Prompt",
(plus "Always allow session cookies").
Initially, you will receive lots of prompts for cookies, which point to
2o7.com, adserver.com and similar tracking sites. You will have the
opportunity to block more and more of these cookies. Over a period, the
number of prompts will fall - and when you clean accumulated cookies,
there will be much less dross for deletion.
