Having problems--not getting the automatic scan (Windows XP-SP2). Read
previous threads. Went to CP/Performance & Maintenance/Scheduled Tasks/
Advanced Tabs/view hidden tasks--and found MP Scheduled Tasks--which
is Windows Defender. It shows that automatic scan has never occured (although
it is enabled). Under settings--I even chose to wake the computer to perform
the
task. The WD newgroup is out of commission. Any suggestions?? Thanks

In Windows Defender select Tools, Options. Is Automatic Scanning
