I got the PC xbox 360 controller for Christmas, It works all right... But I
started to play it with my game SWBF2 and I get problems..
My gaming style is weird.. I use the controller in my left hand and the
mouse in my right, but when I use the analog for moving on my controller my
aiming on my mouse seems to slow down... I don't know why at all! And I'm
very angry.. But when I use the D-pad (which I would really not want to use)
the mouse aiming is normal.
Is there a way to assign keyboard buttons to my xbox controller (like make
right x axis = D). Or could you tell me if there is a way to fix that slowing
down of my mouse aim... Please help thank you Smile

If you're using the Xbox 360 controller for gaming, use just that. It is
how Windows Live Gaming is designed, not the way you're attempting to use
it. You could discard the controller completely and go back to the old
method (if your games support it) of keyboard/mouse input, but that defeats
the purpose of having the controller.

I use a controller cause I hate using WASD for up,left, down, right.
The analog for moving is much easier but aiming with the controller isn't.
I used to use a Nyko controller that let me map the buttons and analog to my
keyboard buttons.. I was thinking that a 40$ controller should do above and
beyond that 20$ controller I had bought 2 years ago..

Actually, it could be the game itself. If the game takes the gamepad input
and translates it to mouse movements, then moving the mouse WHILE using the
game pad at the same time would have conflicting results.

Personally haven't tried using both the 360 + mouse at the same time, might
though tonight.
