Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>newusers (more info?)

Miy laptop has XP Pro SP2, I have MS Streets and Maps. My laptop is a LG P1
which is bluetooth Bluecore4. No USB wireless attachments required. I have a
Holux GPSlim 236 Blue Tooth GPS and MS streets and maps. Upon trying to start
GPS tracking it is stating the fol: The communications port is available but
no signal is being received. Make sure GPS is turned on (dah) and connected
to the corect port. I have check control panel-Bluetooth Devices-both my BT
mouse and GPS are showing as operating. GPS is outgoing on Com 3 and
incoming on com 4.
It had earlier function fine on 9 and 10. All com ports are clear and
available. Has anyone using MS Streets and Map with XP SP2 had similar
problems with a BT GPS. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
