Hello, all I am having an issue with XP PRO. I unfortunately got hit with a
virus and with Symantec help was able to scan/remove whatever was found.
After the removal I needed to reboot the computer. Now it wont reboot, The
pc starts up, asks for the login info....loading personal settings, then
immediately goes to logging off.....then back to the ctrl-alt-del screen to
log in. one vicious circle.
Any suggestions.........

Symantec didn't get it all. I would remove the disk from the computer,
insert it into a USB enclosure, and connect it to my other computer. Then,
I could scan the disk while it was connected to that computer. I would use
David Lipman's Multi_AV package for this scan.
